Im sorry. But I
don’t feel like being nationalistic today.
The Congress is
currently on tv. Infact they are currently on a forty minute break dahil
nagmalfunction ang offical audio system ng Congress while listening to the
“CD”. How pathetic. No, wait. What I meant was: how ironic.
What a waste. Eto pa. Buong hapon
considered as evidence dahil tapped nga. Pinakinggan pa rin nila. Parang: “Ay,
Fast fact:
pinagtatawanan na ang Pilipinas ng buong mundo.
Ilang mobilization
na ba ang aking na-miss? Lahat I guess. Pero looking at the country now, and
then looking back two, three years ago…
Dos. It would have been pointless anyway. In the top five traits Filipinos are
known for, dalawang ang positive… sobrang gasgas at nakakainis pa: Hospitality…
as always, at ang “pagtawa sa problema”. Hay… Yippee
Im so proud to be Pinoy!!
The remaining
three: Crab mentality, mataas na english literacy at shempre ang walang
kamatayang Edsa Series.
And if there’s one
conclusion we can derive from the Edsa Parts (haha parang Party Part!!!!) its
that the Filipinos are capable of uniting, given a common enemy. But never did
we find a true Hero.
The closest we had
to an aunthentic Hero was Benigno Aquino. Which is why his death broke every
Filipino’s heart. He was so high on nationalism that for him: The Filipino is
worth Dying For. Ngaun, di ko lang alam if he was referring to us or nagbago
lang talaga ang mga Pinoy, pero as of June 30, 2005 10:52 pm… I cannot agree
with Ninoy.
Maybe it was the
latter.
Pilipino. We would have drastically changed that his reign would be The
Country’s Rebirth. But take his own daughter Kris for example. Maybe for Ninoy,
as her dad, ofcourse she was worth dying for. But then again… hehe nothing personal though...
Generalization is a
fallacy. But are you actually telling me that there is something more to being
a 21st Century Filipino than Kris? Kung meron ngang isa pang Ninoy
sa lipunan, are we worth the fight? Anu nanamn? Slide presentation ng mga
OFW’ng nag-aalaga ng matanda sa Toronto? O kaya mga bumberong naaalanganin ang
buhay? Or mga teacher na nagtuturo sa kalye? Pasok makabagdamdaming background
music!! Ano to Krystalla? Pwede ba!!
The Philippines is suffering.Yes we should blame
the Administration. Sige, oust GMA! Keri lang yun, tutal sanay na tayo. Hobby
naman natin yun,e. Ang galing galing pa natin dun! Infact, sobrang galing
nating magrevolution, sobrang focused natin mang-oust, wala naman pala tayong
plano pagtapos nun. Yippee na oust si Marcos!! Pwede na uling magkagulo sa
Pilipinas!! Oh tama na, Si erap namn!! Oust! O gulogulo uli! O si Gloria namn!!
Ang saya pala nito!! Isa pang oust!!! Weeeee!!!!!!!
Hindi ko alam kung
san ang dapat pagtuunan ng pansin. In a country where the term “unity” is only
used in politics, I am lost. Haha. United na daw ang Opposition. As if that’s
of any significance. Obviously the only reason they did that was dahil patay na
si FPJ. At if ever mapabagsak si Arroyo, they need to suck up to the masses
kasi isa na lang sa kanila ang
“Magtutuloy ng Laban”. FPJ’s dead. Now they can be president. Sige.
Kanyakanyang motibo yan.
It’s a pity that
our only reason to fight for our future is actually the future of our kids.
They are the only
ones who deserve a brighter tomorrow. I do expect a change in the government
any time soon. But do I believe this will be our turning point? Shempre
that’s what I hope for. Ni wala nga akong Passport. Pag biglang nabulok tong
bansang to, wala kaming lusot. Suwerte ni Bry. But its like asking: what are
the odds na biglang in a decade’s time lahat ng tao sa kongresso, sa gobyerno,
All together now...
